How is the weather in March?

March is still the rainy season in Bali. But things are brightening up on Bali; beaches become clean again, the wind is generally less intense at the coast. Tourism picks up slightly. These days March can be dry compared to a decade ago because it seems that anyhow the seasons are not as predictable anymore like before. March on Bali is where one can feel that rainy season comes to an end. Usually, it’s also Nyepi time (Balinese New Year Festivities and Day of absolute Silence), so it is an exciting time to be in Bali only for that reason alone.
