How’s Uluwatu today?
Uluwatu is the southernmost tip of Bali island. It is where one of the most important and beautiful temples “Pura Luhur Uluwatu” nestled peacefully by the cliff, guarded by hundreds of Bali long-tail monkeys. This area is also famous among pro-surfers for its spectacular breaks and waves. Uluwatu has many dry high terrain and cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean. Like other areas in the South, Uluwatu has a low level of rainfalls, but sometimes the wind can be intense during June and December.

Bali’s is located very near to the equator. Therefore, its warm, tropical climate makes it a huge draw for tourists. Average year-round temperature stands at around 26-27°C with a humidity level of about 85-90%. Water temperatures are always pleasant. The two seasons, rainy and dry season, are not clear cut and entirely predictable. Christmas and New Year is high / peak season in Bali although it is technically “rainy season”.
