How’s Ubud today?
Ubud is considered as the centre of culture in Bali. The area is very relaxing with many amounts of giant trees and plants everywhere in town. It is only an hour and 30 minutes away from Kuta (depend on the traffic), but the atmosphere is a lot different compared to other touristic areas in the south. Although nowadays Ubud is no longer colder like a decade ago, but still you can expect a couple of degrees lower, which is great for you after days spent on the beach under the hot sunshine. The chance of rainfall is slightly higher here, so don’t forget to bring raincoat or umbrella if you want to visit Ubud.
